“The internet is no longer a luxury, but a necessity for progress in the 21st century,” stated the kabiyesi during a meeting. “The initiative by Success Bridge to bring this vital resource to Abule-Iroko is commendable, and I urge all members of our community to lend their support.”

The project plan includes a phased deployment, a tiered subscription model to ensure affordability, and comprehensive training programs to build local technical capacity. By partnering with local technology partners like Community NetHUBs, the foundation aims to create a network that is not only operational but also locally managed and maintained in the long term.

“Our goal is not just to provide internet access, but to empower the community to take ownership of their digital future,” explained Dr. Akinbo Adebunmi, Executive Director, SuccessBridge. “We believe that by working together, we can bridge the digital divide and unlock the immense potential within communities like Abule-Iroko.”.

The project’s objectives extend beyond simply connecting devices. Success Bridge envisions a future where students at Lords Favor Schools have access to a wealth of online learning resources, where local businesses can thrive in the digital marketplace, and where community members can easily access vital information and services.

The next phase of the project will involve a detailed community needs assessment and the finalization of technical plans. With strong local support and a clear vision, the Success Bridge Community Development Foundation is poised to make a significant and lasting impact on the lives of the residents of Abule-Iroko, setting a potential model for digital inclusion in other underserved communities across Ogun State and Nigeria.
